Verbatim, the world‘s market leader for optical media, tasks RHIEM with the development and production of the new Store’n’Go Portable Hard Drive’s retail packaging.
RHIEM has been awarded the contract for manufacturing the retail packaging for Verbatim’s new succesful product line. The newly designed packaging concept combines an appealing appearance with both transportation safety and efficiency.
The Verbatim Store’n‘Go portable hard drive features high performance storage using a USB 3.0 “Super Speed” interface. USB 3.0 offers up to 10 times faster data transfer rates than USB 2.0 (based on USB bus speed) providing ultra fast data transfer on the go. For added security Nero BackItUp and Burn Essentials software is provided to help back up a laptop or PC’s hard drive. Verbatim Store ‘n’ Go Portable Hard Drives also comes with Green Button energy saving software. Green Button software suspends the hard drive from spinning while not in use increasing efficiency and saving energy. With the new Store’n‘Go, Verbatim offers storage solutions for everybody combining exclusive design, excellent performance, robust portability and security.
The Store’n’Go product family’s retail packaging is produced at RHIEM in Germany on latest equipment. The state of the art 7 colour sheet-fed offset printing machines allow print production in one pass – applying scale artwork, special colours as well as UV matt/gloss effect varnish. Besides the resulting hight productivity, inline colour control management assures highest quality compliance from first to last sheet. Finally, the Store’n’Go folding cartons are armed with a glued in PET window so that the hard drive‘s high quality metal casing is visible from the outside.
