On it‘s continuous growth path, the Bärenmacher GmbH banks on RHIEM’s central warehousing service solution for developing the German, Austrian and BeNeLux markets.
In autumn 2006 the first Build-A-Bear Workshop® retail store opened it’s doors in Germany. Since then 17 further retail stores have been opened successfully in Germany and there are more to come in 2012. The appreciation of both young and adult customers promises a substantial further growth. Since June 2010 Die Bärenmacher GmbH counts on RHIEM’s support.
At Build-A-Bear Workshop®, Teddy Bears are brought to life. Build-A-Bear Workshop, Inc. is the leading and only global company that offers an interactive make-your-own stuffed animal retail-entertainment experience. Guests who visit a Build-A-Bear Workshop store enter a recognizable and distinctive teddy bear themed environment consisting of eight stuffed animal-making stations: Choose Me, Hear Me, Stuff Me, Stitch Me, Fluff Me, Dress Me, Name Me and Take Me Home®. Store associates, known as master Bear Builder® associates, share the experience with Guests at each phase of the bear-making process. Regardless of age, Guests enjoy this special place where they create a memory with their friends and family. Finally, the bear is registered with it’s bear code in the global Buil-A-Bear Workshop® system. Should a bear ever get lost, it can be identified and be sent back to it’s home. The bears made by Buil-A-Bear Workshop® meet highest quality standards.
Cuddly teddy bears are with us since early days of childhood and stand for love, friendship and confidence. Those values are demonstrated by the master Bear Builder® every day – and now also by RHIEM’s fulfillment staff. Since RHIEM has become the central retail dsitribution warehouse for Build-A-Bear Workshop®, all goods movements are handled by RHIEM in Voerde. In addition, RHIEM is operating the online store under www.build-a-bear.de. Bears ordered in the online store get stuffed, dressed-up by RHIEM and finally are sent to the expectant new owner’s home. „Our central warehouse solution including online shop and production of marketing and packaging materials offers our customer Build-A-Bear Workshop ® the entire operational platform.
