The Minister was invited by the SME and Economic Union under the title \u201cSuccessful path of a company from Voerde: From a printing company to a globally active service provider.\u201d This development became tangible during the visit: starting from its roots as a printing company, a broadly positioned group of companies has grown in Voerde, now offering a wide range of services for industry, trade and consumers. \u201cAfterwards, you will see packaging with completely different eyes,\u201d explained Ulrich Treiber, Managing Director of RHIEM Packaging & Print GmbH, during the welcome, referring to the technical possibilities and the diversity of modern packaging solutions. <\/p>\n
During the tour of the company site, the visitor group gained insights into several companies within the group. Among those presented were RHIEM Packaging & Print GmbH, with its development and production of sustainable packaging, the multi-channel fulfillment services of RHIEM Services GmbH, the webshop programming services of RHIEM Intermedia GmbH, and CAPREO as a retailer of premium South African wines. It became clear how strongly the group has evolved over the past decades. <\/p>\n
What was particularly positively received in the on-site exchange was the dynamism of the group: its ability to continuously adapt to changing markets, build new business areas and consistently develop existing capabilities.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe were very pleased about the visit and the interest shown in our site in Voerde,\u201d says Dr. Stefan Rhiem. \u201cThe fact that our development over many years is perceived so clearly is a wonderful confirmation for us and at the same time a strong motivation for the next steps.\u201d <\/p>\n
For the RHIEM Group, the Voerde site is far more than a production and administrative location. It is the center where local and international activities come together. This combination of regional roots and entrepreneurial development has shaped the company for many years. \u201cWe are at home on the Lower Rhine and at the same time active in many markets,\u201d says Dr. Stefan Rhiem. \u201cThis combination is exactly what defines us: committed colleagues, pragmatic action and the will to keep developing. That also makes it an exciting environment for new employees.\u201d <\/p>\n
For the RHIEM Group, the Minister\u2019s visit was therefore not only an important exchange on business and SMEs, but also a positive signal for the Voerde site and for the people who shape it every day through their work.<\/p>\n
